Native to the Arabian Peninsula, between the hilly and mountainous areas of the Negev Desert and the Musandam Peninsula, there are thought to be fewer than 200 Arabian Leopards in the wild. A critically endangered species, Herend master painter Sándor Vida captured faithfully the slightest movement and the color scheme of the animal. The arabesque ornamentation of the vase includes a series of repetitive arabesques sumptuously handpainted in 24k gold. A fitting tribute to this rare and wonderful animal. Handmade and hand-painted in Hungary with 24k gold accents. Limited edition of 25.
Measures 16â…›” diameter x 27½” h.
