Herend Reserve Songbird Ginger Jar

Introduced in 2019, the Ginger Jar was a new shape from Herend and lends itself perfectly to creating this textured, layered masterpiece. Spotlighting popular members of the avian chorus, the jar highlights a robin, warbler and chickadee resting between performances while sitting on a branch. Adding movement to the piece is a dramatic, undulating layer of mosaic fishnet painted in saturated, rich colors which seem to move and shimmer thereby making the birds seem to vibrate in anticipation of singing their next note. Limited edition of 100.
