Scully & Scully Austrian Bronze Mallard

Completely handmade and handpainted on both sides by one family in Germany since 1796 with traditional techniques. Every figurine is individually cast from a mold that was carefully engraved in slabs of slate. Each mold’s “life” is limited to about one thousand castings after which a new mold has to be carved to ensure the quality and richness of even the tiniest detail. Because each piece is handpainted by individual artists, colors may vary slightly from the image shown. Made in Austria. Exclusively at Scully & Scully.
